Pork, Peanut, and Pine Festival

Chippokes Plantation

The annual "PPP" festival is a very popular ride, and event too. Try your hands (and mouth) of MANY of the different barbecues available. You might even find that perfect antique or knick-knack that you just have to have (you just gotta figure out HOW to carry it on a bike!)

We start out by parking at the Jamestown Festival Center. Then we'll take a short ride down a long pier to the ferry that will take us across the James River over towards Surry County. From there, we have about a 12 mile ride to the plantation.
