Forms/Paperwork Required and Due Dates - Parents Needed to Time during Time Trials

Interest Meeting: October 5 at 2:20 pm
A general interest meeting will be held Oct. 5 at 2:20 pm in the Recital Hall for anyone interested in joining the team. Come find out what it's all about!
Tryouts: November 15-18
Tryouts for the team will be held in mid-November at South Run RECenter, November 15-18.
Forms for all interested swimmers and divers must be turned in to Coach Tracey Blaine by November 12.

Swim and Dive Team Tryouts November 15-18
Tryouts will be held November 15-18.
| November 15 | 50 and 100 Free |
| November 16 | 100 Back and 100 Breast |
| November 17 | 100 Fly and 500 Free |
| November 18 | 200 Free and 200 IM |
- Everyone trying
out must swim the 50 and 100 Freestyle
events. Swimmers must then choose at least one other event to try
out in. A swimmer may tryout in as many events as they wish.
- USA swimmers
must submit a list of their best times for each event. This time sheet
must be signed by your coach.
- Approximately
25 boys and 25 girls will make the team for swimming.
- For diving, no
more than 6 boys and 6 girls will make the team. Your tryout will
be based on the number of dives you can successfully complete and
the scores you receive on those dives.
- You may not try
out for both swim and dive. You must choose one of the two for tryouts.
- You must have
turned in all required paperwork on or before November 12. See
details below.

Listed below are prior year's cut times for making the team. Cut times for 2004-05 will be determined after tryouts and will be posted at South Run on the pool deck wall on the last day of tryouts on November 18. Swimmers will check the cut times to see which events they made. They only need to make one event to participate on the team.

Make it Official!
Robinson Parents: The Swim and Dive Team Needs Your Help!
Robinson only has a few returning officials. If you are a summer league or USA swimming stroke and turn judge, starter or referee, Robinson needs you! If you are a parent who would like to officiate, Robinson needs you! No previous experience is necessary.
To become certified, you must
- attend the officials clinic,
- take an open book test — it’s true/false and you will receive a copy of the rule book, and
- get your feet
wet.
