When I found this 1966 Corsa Coupe the drivers side headlights had been shoved about a foot back, close to rubbing on the tire. 140 hp, 4 speed, factory A/C, quicksteerarms.
When Black Tooth was repaired and repainted in 1997 we just fixed the fender and repainted it. After a couple of years some poor bodywork and rust not fixed by the previous owner started showing up. The car was only driven occasionally for the next few years until the Winter of 2004 I pulled the car out of Storage put in a rust repair panel the started fixing the other problem areas. By this time I already had two other black LM Corvair coupes, so when it came time to paint the car, it was going to be any color but black. The color chosen was 2002 Camaro Sunset Orange metallic. The color is similar to the Corvair Aztec Bronze, but even closer to the Burnt Orange metallic that was on my first new car, a 1970 340 "Cuda. By this time the black interior needed a refreshing, so I added some factory headrest seats that I had.
