Corpral Isaac Thomas Alderman 

Company A, 42nd Mississippi Infantry. He was killed in action at the Battle of Hatcher's Run in Dinwiddie County, VA on October 27 1864. They were called the Carroll County Fencibles and fought in the Northern Virginia Campaign under General Robert E. Lee, LT General A.P. Hill (3rd Corps), Major General Heath and the Regimental Commander was Brigadier General Joseph R. Davis (nephew of Jeff Davis), Company Commander was Colonel Hugh R. Miller.
