John Benjamin Flanagin was born August 14th, 1858 in Carroll County, Mississippi to Harvey R. Flanagin and Mary A. Flanagin. Harvey R. Flanagin was a private in Company A of the 42nd Mississippi Infantry CSA and was killed at Gettysburg on July 1, 1863. John Benjamin Flanagin's mother married George Washington Kerr. John Benjamin Flanagin married Martha Maria Christofferson on March 29th, 1877. She was born July 27th, 1857 in Skaare, Rogaland, Norway to Christopher C. Christofferson and Serine Karine Larsdr. William Conrad Flanagin born September 26th, 1884 in Carroll County and died September 8th, 1888 in Carroll County. 5. Mary Corrina Flanagin born January 10th, 1887 in Carroll County and died October 15th, 1982 in Carroll County. She married Hiram Matthew Harper on January 4th, 1911. 6. Minnie Constanza Flanagin born July 14th, 1889 in Carroll County and died August 13th, 1906 in Carroll County. 7. Connie Christina Flanagin born August 29th, 1894 in Carroll County and died March 14th, 1985 in Live Oak, Florida. She married Louis Marteen Chriss on October 31st, 1916. 9. Louis Young Flanagin born July 6th, 1897 in Carroll County and died June 26th, 1934 in Grenada, Mississippi. He married Helon Elizabeth Carrothers. Their children are Gladys Young Flanagin, Giles Flanagin, Lloyd Densmore Flanagin, and Kermit Gray Flanagin. 10. The twins Ennis Kemp Flanagin and Annis Bryant Flanagin born June 3rd, 1900. Bryant married Velma Frances Harper on December 25th, 1921. Bryant died May 20th, 1978 in LaFayette, Louisiana. Kemp married Molly Louise Harper sister of Bryant's wife on December 22, 1933. Kemp died on November 18th, 1984 in Carroll County, Mississippi.
