Our activities that benefit the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe:

As part of our ongoing community conservation project RBV recently installed 38 plant markers on the grounds of the  Adobe.  These plants were identified by chapter member Master Gardner Nancy Maynard.   For visitors to the Adobe these markers are informative and provide a learning experience for the many student groups that tour the Adobe.  The chapter’s plans are to continue supporting this worthwhile project until all the plants are identified and marked.

Assisting that day was Mr. Ivy Bodin who volunteers his time in the gardens of the Adobe

Holiday Home Tour
The Vista Community Clinic event includes the historic Adobe on the tour. Each room of the Adobe is appropriately “decked out” for the holidays by various community groups. RBV has decorated a room for the past 4 years.  2007 will be the 5th year.  The Adobe will remain decorated the entire month of December.
