Stick Your Neck Out
The time of crisis always produces men of destiny.
You can always count on it - when the chips
are down, there will be men and women who can
produce the goods. From the minutemen of the
Revolutionary War to the conflict in the Persian
Gulf, there are the heroes.
But you said, "I'm nobody - but a nobody."
Realistically, you have plenty on the ball! Do
get off the sidelines of self-pity and enlist in the battle. You must stick your neck out. The greatest risk
is not to risk.
What you do not use - you lose. Quit using
your legs and they will waste away and become useless. You are responsible to do something with what
you have been given by the creator. Revival is the
continual story of ordinary people becoming extraordinary. Farmer Amos had a plumb line; King
David had a slingshot; Sheepherder Moses had a
rod; John the Baptist had a voice; a Jewish lad had
five loaves of bread and two small fish.
God uses the shotgun man; he blesses the rifle
fellow. Yours may only be a pea shooter, but just
don't bury it and reckon it as insignificant.
Concentration is the call of the hour; "This
one thing I do."
"For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I
not be confounded; therefore have 1 set my face like
a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed."
(Isaiah 50:7)
