INTRODUCTION |

Welcome to my build Journal for my 1984 Porsche Spec Racer. I have never built one so bare with me. I will share my trial and errors with you. I want to thank 944 spec.org for all help and information. I recently sold my 2004 STI because every rich little kids mommy bought him one just because they have too much money. I sold the car not knowing what to get. I was told about a Porsche 944 from my friend whos dad works at a Porsche shop. Just so happen they were selling one. It was love at first site. A great looking car at a reasonable price. I bought it right away. I paid 6,000 for my 1986 Porsche 944 n/a. I love the car handles great and is still got some top end even though I was used to my STI. After having my car for 2 years, I had learned of the 944 spec racing scene. I currently race a 1970 Camaro here in LV. We run in the pro category. 10.18 @ 133mph Top 10 Finish 2008 my first season. While it is a fast car drag racing lacks some other desire in me for competition. I need to race, a real race. Lol…. So I ventured out to find a cheap car, mostly because I have no money. After wind, rain and snow or about 2 months of looking the same shop offered me another 944. Thank you Carls Place, and thank you Tony Magazzatti for hooking a brotha up.
