Shipmate Memorial
This site is dedicated to our
shipmates who have passed on since our time as brothers in the service for
our country. That service may have have been during the Second World War
fighting in the Pacific, it may have been during the Korean "Police Action"
in the 1950's, or during that terrible defeat of our Nation ...Vietnam
.......We all served on the USS Halsey Powell, the home we had during those
years when we were young. We lived as brothers who were put together for a
purpose. We spent the years after our time together raising a family,
getting an education and making a living for those people we loved. When the
time came that we met in years later to remember those brothers and our time
as Shipmates.....We had our minds turned back to those days when our Country
needed us...and we stepped forward to do our duty....This site is dedicated
to those brothers who have gone from us to meet our Lord, to hear him say "
Well done my Son......"
