Baffled by baffles? Here's a bit of Centuri technology that is almost forgotten, but easy to make, the ejection baffle. Never use wadding in your big model rockets again! All one needs are two cardboard disks and a body tube coupler. One disk gets seven or eight holes punched at the edge while the other gets seven holes (or one 1/2" hole) punched the center. These baffles mainly work on rockets with body tubes with bigger than 1.3" diameters(ST-13 or BT-55). |
