Global Warming
- Global warming is going to come about, according to God's own time, no matter what we think,
say, or do.
- We know, from what we read in the King James version of the Holy Bible, that even if global
warming was to be very extreme that there would not be enough water from melted ice to flood
all the earth or to destroy all the people.
- After the Great Flood, God told Noah, "neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the
earth.....and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh"
(Genesis 9:11-15).
- Here is something to ponder while thinking about global warming. Is there any
one person or any group that think they can thwart the will of God when He decides to force His
will on us?
- If you think so, then think about the tower of Babel.
God said to Noah and his sons, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth"
(Genesis 9:1).
The people said, "let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto
heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth"
(Genesis 11:4).
"Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound
the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all
the earth" (Genesis11:9).
- Another thing to ponder when thinking of global warming. The Bible also warns
us about the next judgment that will come upon the ungodly.
II Peter 3:6-7 "Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water,
perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved
unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men".
During the last three years of the great tribulation the vials of the wrath of God will be poured out on
the earth. (Revelation 16:1-21)
Think of Revelation 16:8-9 as the end result of extreme global warming. "And the
fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over
these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory".
The Rapture of the Church is the catching away of that
chosen group from all nations of the earth who have been
Born again. The dead in Christ shall rise first: then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds
(I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
The Rapture of the Church will happen before
the great tribulation. "For God hath not appointed us
to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake
or sleep, we should live together with him" (I Thessalonians 5:9-10).
