Application Recommendations TigerCal Liquid Calcium 30™ can be used in a variety of applications: Liquid Nitrogen Solutions As a nitrogen addative, TigerCal Liquid Calcium 30™ can be applied at a rate of 2 to 5 gallons per square acre. Soil Applications To improve soil structure, apply TigerCal Liquid Calcium 30 at a rate of 1 to 3 gallons per square acre. Foliar Applications Apply TigerCal Liquid Calcium 30™ at a rate of 2 to 5 gallons per square acre as a foliar spray to prevent corking and bitter pit in the fruit. Benefits of Chelated Natural CalciumCalcium is an essential nutrient for strong plant cell development. Calcium functions in the plant as an osmotic regulator, an integral part of cell wall structure in all meristem and storage organs. Without adequate calcium storage quality suffers and with extreme deficiency growth points die. Calcium helps the movement of NKP (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium) into plants.
