They
met at the Wednesday evening parenting meetings of
Parents Without Partners.
One evening they went out to Denny's
for a cup of coffee after the meeting, got to talking, and they still
haven't stopped. They decided, that since they enjoyed each other's
company so much, they should make it a permanent partnership and merge their
families. They were married on August 4, 1995 in front of a multitude
of witnesses. They spent their honeymoon camping in a
State Park in
New Jersey during a hurricane.
Now,
they work and play - having adventures on their
Honda Goldwing, loving their kids, enjoying their days together and
loving each other. Their adventures have taken them through the
countryside of south-eastern Virginia
and north-eastern North Carolina.
Their trips have taken them across many bridges, through a few tunnels, and
even for a couple rides on the
James
River Ferry. And as the days roll by, they look forward to
spending all of them together.
