created for the residents of the
Town of Richmond, Rhode Island and
serves to inform, educate, and
enlighten the community.
The Richmond
Police Department serves the Town Of
Richmond, RI with a population of
7,720 and a total area of over 40
square miles.
The Department is made up of 11
sworn officers, 5 reserve patrolman,
and a full time animal control
officer. The department has a fleet
of eight marked patrol cars, one
unmarked car and an animal control
