Welcome to a new administration, an opportunity to make new friends and take on new challenges. What a wonderful time visiting Washington D.C. at the 116th Continental Congress and participating in installation ceremonies at Constitution Hall.

The 2007-2009 RIDAR state theme is “Promoting Membership Through Community, Communication and Commitment.” This conveys the focus on increasing RIDAR membership as well as maintaining our current membership throughout our nine chapters. In conjunction with this theme, genealogy workshops are planned throughout the state with members ready to assist prospective members.

We are delighted to announce that RIDAR has a State Outstanding Junior for 2007. Junior members assist as Pages as well as Color Bearers for State Conferences; they are an integral part of our society.

RIDAR proudly supports RISSCAR which reorganized five years ago and has two local societies.

We look forward to participating in historical commemorations, parades and patriotic events to honor our veterans.
