This is my wife Pamela.  Without her support, I might not be progressing as well as I have.  She has been totally supportive in my shooting and I can not thank her enough for it.   She is also my spotter on the shooting line and has been very helpful there.  No matter what, I always know she is with me and there to help if I need it.  Anytime I am discouraged, she is there to encourage me. Thanks Pamela!  Love Ya!

My wife took this picture of me getting ready for the Hassayampa Memorial match.  It was my one year anniversary from my first Rifle Silhouette match, 3/08/03.  I shot a 12 of 40 then.  At this match I was using my new Anschutz 54.18 and was able to tie for first out of 15 shooters in the "AA". I had a 27 of 40 and 26 of 40 for a total of 53 of 80 for the match.  I lost the tiebreaker to get 2nd place for the day.  We both missed the first two shots, I missed the 3rd as well.   I think adrenalin was a factor for us both.  My first miss was between the Rams legs, close but no cigar.  (my second shot missed by a mile, but I don't want to talk about that).  I hit my first 10 in a row on the Chickens that day.  Overall it was definitely my best day yet at Smallbore Rifle Silhouette.

This is my wife and I at the 2002 NRA National Smallbore Rifle Silhouette Championship at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton New Mexico. I shot poorly and managed a 9th place finish on the second day for the Hunting Rifle Class "A".  I made up for the poor 2002 performance in 2004 NRA National Smallbore Rifle Silhouette Championship, that is detailed in MY SHOOTING HISTORY. The highlight was a 34/40 master score with the hunter rifle for a 1st place AAA and, 4th highest score for the match.
