Here is a picture of the great work that Mark Hoechst did for me. I sent him an idea for a Ram engraving done in silhouette for my Smallbore Silhouette rifle along with a copy of my signature. He sent back a great idea to take it a step further. He sent me a sketch of his idea, a minor adjustment and we were off on the project.
I took a piece of sheet brass and cut it to an oval shape (3 inches across) then put an arc in it to match the stock of the rifle. It had some difficulty to it, but all and all it was not too difficult with a good workbench and a good file.

I shipped it to Mark where he did some great work on it and shipped it back with some wonderful work done on a small scale. With my monitor set at 1152x864 the larger image is 2.5 times normal scale. The smaller is about actual size (3" across). The one with the rifle is to show where I mounted it into the stock.

If you wish to contact Mark Hoechst his e-mail is listed on this website showing some more of his work. It was very reasonable in cost and he does have an artistic imagination: Thanks again Mark for a great job!
He is a member of the Firearms Engraving Guild of America.
