This is the first vinyl kit I did about 9 years ago. I walked into a local hobby shop and there it was shining like the holy grail......Anyway I had no idea that models were done in vinyl and resin. The Venom kit is what got me back into modeling especially comic and star wars characters. That's why I'm re-doing it so I can do it right.
Well I finally finished it!!!!! I really took my time doing the mouth and around the spider to get really straight lines. I used an ivory color for the spider instead of a straight white to give it a dirty look. I then used pastels on the ivory to bring out the muscle tone.
Next I used a combination of hot glue and five minute epoxy to get drool in the mouth. When my wife saw it for the first time she went "YYYUUUUCCCKKKK!!!!" Just the response I was looking for. Thanks for looking hope you enjoy it.
