This is a scan from an Epson 1270 printed on 3rd generation PGPP. It looks pretty darn good, I thought. Although it not's a noticeable on the scan, I've always felt the purples are a real weakness of this printer (and most other inkjets, for that matter.)

Here's a comparison of this output with two other papers and 1270 inks. While there are differences, they all look pretty similar.
