PEULA, CHILE: We are in a Bus coming from Peula on a private dirt road and aproaching the border of Argentina.

CROSSING THE ANDES: We left the Bus and are now on a Catamaran crossing one of several Lakes.

CROSSING THE ANDES: We are crossing the Andes at about 970 meters (3200 ft) above sea level. At times very heavy clouds, later more sunny.

CROSSING THE ANDES: We left Puerto Varas, Chile at 8am and stopped at Peula, Chile for lunch than sailed til dinner time.

CROSSING THE ANDES: We are getting of the water and back on a Bus. This will be the last leg. By the time we got to the hotel in Beriloche, Argentina it was 10 pm in the evening.

BERILOCHE, ARGENTINA: Beriloche is a very charming City and also a yearound Resort. You can still see the Andes in the distance.
