Consulting: Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity
Some
recent events in my consulting work on cultural diversity.
Since
2006, we have been working with Minnesota State University,
Moorhead to infuse anti-racist multicultural objectives across
the curriculum. Close to 30 members of the faculty have participated in
four and half-day long workshops. We review anti-racism analysis, look
at pedagogical theory and practice and work, across disciplines with
the infusion of anti-racist multicultural objectives in courses.
18 members of
the MSUM faculty participate in the first training led by Dr.
Emily Drew (Willamette College, Oregon) and Dr. Victor M. Rodriguez
(Cal State, Long Beach).
