About Us

We are a Christian, homeschooling, dancing family who resides in Peoria, Arizona.  We love dancing, Arizona, nutrition, helping people with their finances, the violin, music, learning, traveling, our kids, and more!  But most of all, we love Jesus Christ.  And we love you too!

Bio of Frank Romani

Frank has been a choreographer and ballroom dance instructor for 35 years.  He previously owned the Chicago Dance Ballroom & Studio for 15 of those years.  During his dancing career, he has competed in both International and American style Smooth and Latin dances and has claimed the Top Teacher Award for ten years.  As well as teaching and choreographing, he is an adjudicator and an examiner for the certification of teachers for the United States Terpsichorean Association in the Midwest.  Frank has performed not only for his own studio in Chicago, but for various other groups such as the Philippino Medical Association, the City of Chicago, the French Government, the New York Imperial Ballroom, the Ritz Carlton, and the Prom Ballroom in St. Paul, Minnesota.  For the past fifteen years in Arizona, Frank has taught both group and private lessons, performed in showcases, and offered D.J. services for several clubs around the Valley of the Sun.

As well as dancing, Frank is also his children's Dad.

Bio of Tammy Romani

Tammy began her dancing career her second semester of college when, after seeing a dance concert by the dance department at Kansas State University, she fell in love with the dance and changed her major.  Her college studies were mainly in ballet, modern and jazz dancing, and she was a member of the Kansas State Repertory Dance Company while attending K-State.  While in college, she danced in and also choreographed several pieces for dance concerts that were held each semester as well as attended summer dance camps at places like Alvin Ailey and State Ballet of Missouri.  She graduated in 1989 from KSU with a degree in dance and then moved in 1991 to Chicago where she met Frank.  She began teaching ballroom at his studio and performed in showcases that were held at the studio as well as other places around the city of Chicago.  She continues teaching ballroom dancing and has taught other forms of dancing to people of all ages as well.  She performs in showcases throughout the Valley, and is noted for some of the beautiful formations she has choreographed for showcases performed by students of the dance.

As well as dancing, Tammy is also her children's Mom.

The Kids

Yes, our kids dance too!

Though he has decided a career in dance is not his forte, with a bit of coaxing, Aaron can still cut the rug with a swing and foxtrot as smooth as glass.  Being around a dance studio all his life, he's picked up many steps his father taught over the years.  He is currently out on his own and working to make a living.

Laura, also having grown up in a dance studio all her life and following in her father's footsteps, has decided a career in the dance field is in her best interest, and is working with her husband, Dustin Bates, to build up a clientele and start their own dance studio on the West side of town.  Dustin is also a lifetime dancer and is currently teaching and competing with Laura.  They have two children, Aviana and Lily, who will no doubt be dancers too.

Amanda, Giovanna and Matthew have also danced all their young lives as well, and music is simply a part of them and their continuing education.  Amanda and Giovanna have shown themselves to be not only up and coming dancers, but talented violinists as well.  Matthew would love to play the drums and it will be just a matter of time before we have to break down and by a set.

Psalm 150:4a
