Roy's association with Rocky Horror began at the Cinerama on Hope Street in Providence in 1980. As Cast Leader of the cast that would eventually be called the Absolute Pleasure Players, he ran Friday and Saturday shows every week at Jane Pickens, Avon, Cable Car, Fairlawn, Warwick Mall, Cumberland Twin, Meadowbrook, and back again to the Jane Pickens which ended in 1994. After 3 years of "barnstorm" shows with APP and working with the new Teseracte Players cast in Boston, Roy joined the RKO Players in 1997. At this point, Roy was both in RKO and running APP. For years longer, APP continued to do road shows, short runs, and parades thru the 2000's in conjunction with RKO Army cast until Roy decided to stop using the APP brand name in 2004. |
