Statistics
CurlStat allows you to compute many different types of statistical information you can get. This table summarizes the statistical features. 
Statistics available during recording a game and during replay of a game.
Statistics available during the game are kept current through the last recorded shot. Shots intentionally thrown through not included in the calculations.
Table showing percentages by type of shot and total percentages. These percentages are shown for each player on each team and for both teams. Example Table showing percentages by shooting "stone". This table will indicate if a player is shooting similar percentages with each rock. Example

The tables above that show percentage by end also highlight in color all percentages above and below pre-determined values. These values are adjustable.
Charts showing game total percentages. Percentages for all shots or any specific type of shot can be shown. Example Charts showing percentages in each end. Charts also show percentage difference between teams or individual players by end. Example
Charts can be displayed in any of several formats. Two-dimensional chart types include line, bar and pie charts. Three-dimensional chart types include bar, line, and step. 3-d charts can be rotated on screen. Example
Comprehensive Statistical Features
CurlStat includes a comprehensive statistical package that is separate from the tables and charts described above. These reports are not available during recording of a game. Some of the features are described below.
Statistics can be based on a single game or any combination of games required. Looking at statistics from groups of games at various points in time will tell you whether or not your team is progressing. Statistical reports can be viewed on screen or printed to the printer. They can also be sent to disk in a number of formats including Word, Excel, html, Word Perfect, etc. 
Reports can be based on any individual player or any selected group of players. In addition, you can select any combination of 70 available filters. See more about filters below. 
When you combine the ability to:
  • select any combination of games you want, 
  • select any combination of players,
  • select from the many filters provided, 
  • and select from the multiple report options, 
you can see that CurlStat provides a comprehensive statistical package for evaluation of the data you have collected. 		 Filters allow you to select certain types of shots for evaluation, for example only in-turns or out-turns. Another example is to select only shots in the last few ends of a game. Or only shots in games before noon, etc. 

So if you want to see how your player's shoot in the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th ends on their second shots, you can. Or how did your team do with, versus without, hammer? In-turn hits vs. out-turn hits? Skip's shot's only? All these choices and many more are easy.
