This DVD showcases video during the early period of my storm chase career between 1990-1992. All of the video segments were shot in high-quality, Super-VHS (SVHS) format. This was quite rare for this period in storm chase history. Almost all storm chase videos from this period were shot in lower-quality VHS format.

The program features the extended version of the violent Red Rock, OK tornado. This is perhaps my most famous video segment and brief clips have been featured in numerous documentaries. This is the extended version from tornado touchdown through the crossing at I-35 mile marker 200. My chase partners and I caught up to the Red Rock tornado again one hour (and 35 miles) later at Fairfax, OK.

A damage survey of the devastating F5 tornado damage at the Andover, Kansas Golden Spur Mobile Home Park is included. This internationally famous event has been featured in many documentary and news programs. Oddities include mangled cars, de-barked trees and a bent spoon embedded into the ground. Some scenes contain flattened homes as far as the eye can see. Sobering video that forces us to remember the human toll tornadoes sometime take.

Also included is the famous June 15, 1992 tornado outbreak across north central Kansas. This poorly documented outbreak ranks as one of the greatest storm chase events of all time with a rotating cluster of supercells producing multiple tornadoes. A report stated a farmer near Waconda Lake came out from his storm cellar three different times during the evening only to note fresh tornado damage each time. The original supercell from this outbreak contained the largest barrel shaped updraft I have ever seen, either in person or on video tape.

Featured in this segment are the violent, multi-vortex Tipton, Kansas tornado; the multi-vortex  Simpson, Kansas tornado; and the Asherville, Kansas rope tornado which crossed US 24 about a half mile to my west.

The program is capped by a compelling, original music video which showcases my best 35mm images and time lapse storm video from this period.
