This DVD showcases video shot in digital-8 format between May 30, 2004 through 2005. It features video of the June 11, 2004 Iowa tornado outbreak. The ghostly-white Ayrshire, Iowa tornado was bathed in sunlight, while the Emmetsburg, Iowa tornado (DVD title picture) dissipated and a contorted rope that must be seen to be appreciated.
Also included are the Derby, Kansas tornado from June 12, 2004; the Ness City and Trego Center, Kansas tornadoes from June 3, 2005; and the incredible tornadic supercell in the South Dakota Badlands near Interior with its tornado near Potato Creek, South Dakota.
Also featured are the Damar and Palco, Kansas tornadoes from June 9, 2005. At one point, two tornadoes were on the ground simultaneously. Time lapse video of the second tornado's rope-stage dissipation is included. Also included is the raging, "tomato soup" flood of the Prarie Dog Fork of the Red River in Armstrong County, Texas and the Wayside, Texas tornado from June 11, 2005. The program contains three compelling, original music videos which showcase my best 35mm images from this period as well as incredible time lapse storm video. Running Time: 61 minutes
