This DVD showcases video shot in digital-8 format during 2006 and 2007. It features video of the April 24, 2006 El Reno, Oklahoma tornadoes, one of which struck a hanger at the El Reno airport. Also featured is the March 28, 2007 South Brice, Texas tornado (cover shot). This tornado was bathed in sunlight as it crossed the Prarie Dog Fork of the Red River. It widened into a truncated cone as it passed to our immediate west and then roped out as a ghostly white tornado.
Also featured are tornadoes from the April 21, 2007 Texas Panhandle tornado outbreak. The Channing, Texas tornado touched down as a tapered funnel and then widened out to a truncated cone as it passed to our west. We followed this tornado to its dissipation west of Dumas. The Dumas-Cactus, Texas tornado was a true "wedge." The after dark Sunray, Texas tornadoes were filmed as well. Also included is the Iuka-Stafford, Kansas tornadic supercell and lightning shot near Monument Rocks, Kansas.
The program contains compelling, original music videos which showcase my best 35mm images from this period as well as incredible time lapse storm video. Running Time: 63 minutes
