A quick look at the 00Z NAM shows unidirectional flow over
the previous possible target area in SW Kansas. Given that
and the long drive involved, it's becoming increasingly
likely that no chase operations will take place tomorrow
afternoon.
Neat Picture from St. Louis
I was watching storms Monday night, 5/1 on my shift at WeatherData. My rule of thumb, if I'm watching some hazardous weather near one of our clients, then I try to have a few web cameras up on Firefox that are based near the client's locations. Low and behold, I captured this image from the Mid West Haze Cam based in St. Louis.
Yeah, it's a decent shot of the St. Louis arch and the lightning bolt. What's amazing is that the camera only takes a picture every 15 minutes! Talk about nice timing!
