At present, Horizon is Celebrity Cruises' grand dame. One of its three original ships, it
followed Meridian (which ultimately was sold and sadly sank in the Pacific) -- and
preceded Zenith, which launched two years later.

On a sad note - the Horizon is being retired from the
Celebrity fleet and will be sailing under the UK-based Island Crusie Lines, which is owned by Celebrity.
Her new name will be the ISLAND STAR

Overview
This mid-size ship entered service in 1990 and underwent a massive refurbishment program
in 1998. The Horizon is renowned for its sophisticated food and beverage services whilst
still maintaining a fun atmosphere.
Accommodations
The Horizon has 5 classes of accommodation:
Presidential Suite In addition to a king size or double
bed, the Presidential Suite boasts a window, bathroom with tub and shower, separate
seating area and fine furnishings. Additional benefits for passengers staying in this
class include 24 hour European butler service , priority check-in and departure, and
welcoming champagne.
Ocean View Deluxe Suite 270 square feet, sitting area,
bathroom with tub and shower, and spectacular ocean view. Additional benefits for
passengers staying in this class include 24 hour European butler service, priority
check-in and departure, and welcoming champagne.
Premium Ocean View Stateroom 172 square feet, sitting area
and spectacular ocean view.

All have interactive TV, telephone with voice mail, separate bathroom with shower,
toiletries, hair dryer, mini-bar and safe.
Dining
Horizons dining options include:
Starlight Restaurant - The Horizons main restaurant seats
828 guests. The Starlight Restaurant serves open seating breakfast and lunch, and dinner
in 2 sessions (assigned seating). The menu, designed by Michelin 3-star chef Michel Roux,
also features a vegetarian selection.
Corals Sea Café - Located on the pool deck, this eatery offers
lunch and dinner buffets.
Corals Sea Bar & Grill - Serves burgers and hot dogs.
Bars/Nightclubs/Entertainment
Palladium Show Lounge - The Horizons main show lounge has
2 levels, and with no obstructing columns provides good sightlines. Nightly entertainment
includes Broadway-style shows and other entertainment such as comedy acts. A cocktail
service is offered throughout performances.
Mast Bar A pleasant bar overlooking the main pool.
Cova Café Milano Enjoy speciality coffee whilst
listening to soothing piano music
Martini Bar - Located next to the Palladium Show Lounge this is
the ideal place to enjoy a post-show cocktail.
Americas Cup Club With its panoramic windows and
piano, this spacious bar is the perfect place to relax.
Casino Royale - Stylish casino with blackjack and roulette
tables, slot and video poker machines.
Rendez-Vous Bar & Lounge - With elegant décor, this bar is
situated adjacent to Starlight Restaurant and is ideal for pre and post-dinner drinks.
Zodiac Club - This sophisticated club is the venue for late
night dancing.
Michaels Club - Relax in a leather chair by the fireplace,
enjoying a hand-rolled cigar and glass of warm cognac.
Activities
Celebrity Cruises offers knowledgeable presentations that highlight the special
attractions awaiting passengers in Bermuda. Whilst in port, they offer a comprehensive
program of shore excursions in Bermuda including: helmet diving, a high-speed adventure on
the Wildcat and a trip to the Crystal Caves.
Health & Beauty
The Fitness Centre has a range of cardiovascular equipment, a weight station and free
weights. The Celebrity Horizon also boasts 2 pools and several Jacuzzis.
The AquaSpa by Elemis offers a full range of health and beauty programs, including
aromatherapy massages.
