These were taken in 1955, I believe prior to Re-Fit in Mare Island in
June.
The film was taken by Milton's Stepfather, who was a supervisor for
Kaiser Aluminum in Seattle Washington.
The location is Charr Inlet,(Fitting No?)that lies West of Tacoma and
between the Islands of
Fox, and Anderson to the West and Lakewood to the East.
USS Charr was on a "Good Will" tour and took aboard VIP's for a taste
of
Submariners Life.
