Mandatory General Meeting on
Friday, October 1st at 7:00PM.

Mihai will present the 2004-2005 meet schedule at the meeting.

REMINDER
August 1st and September 1st assessments are currently due. The October 1st assessment will be due as of the day of the general meeting. Once the meet schedule is announced Denise will begin the registration process. No gymnast will be registered for a meet(s) if they have not paid their assessments. This policy is nessessary so that money that is held for those members of the AGPA that have paid all the assessments as they come due is not used to pay for the registrations of those members that are delinquent. Please note that any funds paid to the AGPA are first applied to any balances that may be outstanding from the 2003-2004 season then the remainder of the funds are credited to the gymnast's assessments. A copy of the minutes of last month's meeting was sent via email. A hard copy of the minutes is also available for you to read at the gym, please see Denise in the office for a copy.

The American Gymnastics Parents Association wishes to Congratulate Alicia Sacramone on her efforts and achievements this year. Thank you Alicia, Mihai and Silvia for bringing Brestyan's American Gymnastics to the forefront of the sport. Where you have lead, others dream to follow.

Thanks go out to Steve Barron and all who helped him with the Annual Golf Tournament. Again, if you have any pictures or tales from the links, I will be happy to post them.


Hope you all enjoyed the End of the Year Party at the Natick Elks. The girls love the new pink tee-shirts given by the Brestyan's. Thanks Silvia and Mihai.

Planning continues for another successful Brestyan's Classic Invitational Meet. Thanks Julene Teixeira for stepping up to the Director's challenges once again. Please see Julene if you have missed your initial committee meeting. Each committee has met initially to discuss the pre-meet work, which is well underway.
The Board wishes to thank all the parents and siblings that helped make the last event happen.

Action Photos did a great job with taking pics of our kids. Feel free to submit pictures for the website. I will make selections of those that you've purchased.

Regarding Security- A new publicity waiver will be in your child's folder soon. There will be options available regarding the use of your childs name and image on the web and in newspapers. Please consider them closely. Our intent is to promote the gym, the individual, and team spirit.
Remember... For those with concerns about the www.bagpa.org site, it does now appear on several search engines. Also, the site name has been released on the promotional brochure to our invited guest clubs. Meet write-ups will be done to help publicize the gym (and the individual athletes) and sent to local newspapers. Edited versions will appear under the results heading or as links. If you wish me to withhold your child's picture, name, scores, places in any way, whether in newspaper write-ups, or on this site, please contact me. This is best done by email at rstack44@aol.com, by a note in Jen Stack's folder, or by just talking to me or Diane at the gym.
