The Bahá'í Faith is in its 164th
year (founded in 1844). The Bahá'í Year begins March 21 (first
day of Spring). Bahá'ís believe that God's Religion is
progressive...humanity learns more as its capacity increases. To teach
humanity, God sends Messengers/Prophets/Manifestations to humanity at fairly
regular intervals according to the needs of humanity. Some
(Messengers/Prophets) have continued the policies/teachings of a Major
Teacher and some (Manifestations) have been Major Teachers.
Major Teachers include: Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha, Zoraster, Krishna, The
Bab and Baha'u'llah.

Unity of Religions
|
All the major religions are different
"chapters" in the Religion of God. They all come from the same
God.

Equality of Women & Men
|
Men and women are equal although they have different
complementary functions.

Race Unity
|
That there is one race: the human race. All people
belong to it and therefore there should be no prejudice between the races.
Racism is America's
greatest challenge according to 'Abdul-Baha.

Science & Religion
|
That truth is one. If there appears to be a
difference between science and religion, one (or both) is being misunderstood.
Without science, religion becomes superstition. Without religion, science
becomes materialistic.
