Jefa bearings now on all Bénéteau First boats

Jefa Marine is proud to announce to have won the Bénéteau First contract for rudder bearings for the First 36.7,40.7 and 47.7. A special new type of roller bearing has been developed with exactly the same outer dimensions than the French made gliding bearings that have been used up until now. The bearings are fully self aligning and the delrin inner ball acts as inner bearing housing without the usual aluminium inner housing.

A special ball with rollers in various dimensions has been developed to upgrade the already delivered boats to roller bearings. The ball has the same dimensions than the currently used gliding bearing ball, so the bearing housing will not have to be removed from the hull. When the rudder shaft is dropped out, the exchange is a matter of minutes.
