Yacht Clubs and Places to Sail

These are places we know.  Some of these are on the East Coast where Yachting was a Blue-blood tradition that has         only recently crossed into the 19th century. Still, there are great areas to cruise and race.  If you have a place we should     add, advise the Skipper.

Stamford YC (CT) - Our Club back East - Top Notch and Very Friendy
Block Island (RI) - Home Base for Cruising and Racing in the Northeast
City Island (NY) - In New York City - A Funky Island with a Maritime Heritage
Catalina Is. (CA) - Our local cruising destination
Ensenada (BC) - Our Home Away from Home
Sausalito YC (CA) - Blue Agave's original home
San Diego Association of YC - Our Bretheren

Other sailing Stuff

    Sailing Anarchy
Scot Tempesto, who edits this is an ex-San Diego guy. Alhough he is not underopinionated and he does not care for
Beneteaus because they are not hot throw away boats he has some of the best coverage of the industry and SoCal sailing.
