Notes on Carter Family Record page found in Worth
McKitrick's Bible Indicate Born Bellefonte, Centre Co.
Pa. Baptized by RS_ Bouse at Fillmore Center Co. Pa.
Married on Feb. 15, 1878. In the Carter Family Record
pages she is listed as Nanie Maud Carter.
Someplace I have a note, I think from my mother that
Nancy Maude Carter is buried above Ora Carter. Ora
Carter's grave was dug extra deep.

NOTES : He was a 32nd degree Mason (from memories of things my mother told
me-RWM).
There is a note on an old Bible page that says "Died Mar.9,1925 at
t McKeesport Hospital and was Burred Mar. 12, in Richland Cemetery.
McKeesport Pa." This bible page was apperently from a bible given to my
Uncle Donald C. McIntosh, Sept. 30th 1923 by First M.E. Sunday School.
I do not have the Bible. Only the Presentation page and one other page.
They were found in an old Bible that had belonged to my Grandfather
Worth McKitrick.
Also from old Family papers I have a copy of "The Candle Light" (a
church newspaper, dated November 1925) which states that he died
Monday Evening Nov. 9th 1925 at McKeesport Hospital and Services were
held on Thursday Nov. 12th at 2 o"clock at the church.
