Welcome! I put this together to give a little information about what we do and where we go in our RV.
I have some RV park and Campground information and I will include some photos and modifications to the RV.
As you can see in the photos, we have a Class C, a 2001 Shasta Cheyenne 31' with a slide. We tow our '03 PT Cruiser or a '91 4runner.
We started off as most do, in a Van, then moved to a 4 person tent. My sister-in-law and her husband got a popup. I had seen these before but never really paid much attention to them. My wife suggested that we borrow it and once we did we had to have one.
We purchased one of the largest Jayco's on the market at the time 1995. My In-law's lacked two critical items for me. A shower and Toilet! The one we had came with the wet bath. This was great until we took the kids AND dogs with us one trip. This unit got small quickly.
We traded the popup in for a 26' travel trailer this worked out for us well for a few trips. I made the mistake of not getting a slide on the unit and really didn't like staying in it. I thought it was a little cramped with kids dogs and wife.
Now we have a Class C wtih a slide and we really like it. Lots of room for Dogs, Kids, Wife and a friend or two. We are lucky enough to be able to park the unit on our property and have used it as a guest house on occasion.
