JOM is a client for an Open Source Instant Messaging system called Jabber. It is a 'Classic' Macintosh application and at this point (November 2002) probably won't even connect to a moder Jabber server.
Nevertheless, both the application and the source are available.
I've released it under the Lesser GNU Public License, which is included in the stuffit archive. Because of that license and because I didn't really want to worry about how it relates to the commercial application framework I used for the GUI (Metrowerk's PowerPlant), there are two Codewarrior projects, one for most of my code which produces a library, and another one that includes the framework and produces the actual executable.
