This is a list of named, unique weapons from any source. Where possible sources are listed along with the type of source: myth, literature, history, etc. Each weapon is described by type (sword, gun, etc) and by it's principal owner or wielder, if any.

A bit of clarification about what weapons might be included in this list. The weapon must be individual, not just a member of a class. Lightsabres, for example, don't seem to have individual names, so they would not be included in this list. An example that most people are probably familiar with is King Arthur's sword Excalibur.
