• Activism. Higher numbers indicate a greater presence in the politics of space travel.
• Education. Higher numbers indicate a greater emphasis on educating the general public about space flight issues.
• Research. Higher numbers indicate a greater amount of scientific (pure and applied) and engineering research. May be scholarly, simulated or experimental research.
• Web. Higher numbers indicate a greater reliance on the web and less of a non-web based organization. A 'W' with no number indicates an originization that is solely web based.
