What I found was that while many of the search engines will give you a list (small or large) of space societies, there didn't seem to be any resources giving much objective information about the different strengths, weaknesses and focus' of each group.
So I decided to start one. All of the information in this index is either subjective on my part or 'to the best of my knowledge'. I certainly don't expect that anyone should take what I have to say as the complete truth, but hopefully I can give people pointers so that they will have less of their own research to do in deciding which space society is right for them.
Enjoy and whichever society you decide to join, don't simply be a passive member, but join in, in whatever way you can. If nothing else, make your voice heard.
