Interesting places to go for you who want to know!

1. .  - USS HULL (DD-945) Association. The official Association website. Learn about the
greatest all gun destroyer to serve in the US Pacific fleet! Hull was the last of the all gun destroyers homeported on the West Coast
AND she was the only "tin can" to carry an 8 inch gun! This website, manned by Lou Colella, a former Hull crewmember, has many
interesting and historic facts on all the ships that have carried the Hull name. Very interesting, very well done!

2. - USS FORRESTAL (CVA-59) ASSOCIATION - The official website for the carrier
Forrestal. Find out the latest association news, relive memories, stop by the ships store, or join the association.

3. USS ACADIA (AD-42) ASSOCIATION - The official website of the Fast Attack Tender Acadia. Meet former shipmates or get
                     the latest Acadia news.

4.. - THE GOAT LOCKER - My greatest accomplishment while serving in the great U.S. Navy
was attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Being a "Chief" is one of the goals of every career enlisted in the Navy. Its like no other
rank in any of the other services, it is a special honor and it has the responsibilities to go with it. This website is a gathering place for
all chiefs (once you become one, you remain one) and its also a place for everyone who wants to learn more about things naval.
Remember to remove your hat and knock before entering!

5.  Destroyers Online- Another great source for Destroyers, other ships, and naval knowledge.

6. San Diego Christian Writer's Guild - This is not a Navy related website but it's a great site for all writers, professional or novice. If you write, any genre, and you want to sharpen your tools, this is the place to go. It's not only for Christian writers, we welcome all. Its a place to grow and get help getting published.

7. From The Mind's Eye - My poetry website. Many good poems, including Guys Night Out awarded "finest poem of 2006" by the San Diego Christian Writers Guild.
