   Homeschool Book List

Here are some of the books that helped me as I began my homeschool journey. Some of them may now be out of print or unavailable. If you find that to be so, do let me know so I can remove it from the list.

These books give insight into varied methods of homeschooling. Some advocate early learning (Claggett, Mason, Fugate), while others advocate beginning later (Moores). Some are general information books. Much of this can now be done online. I checked a few of them for the Kindle with no success, but this may change as time goes on.

There are many more good books that have come out since this time. My children have since graduated. See the links page for some other good references.  Also, I would suggest getting the book from the library first to see if you think it is useful in your situation. This might work for out of print books as well. There are a lot of used book sellers out there. Check Amazon and half.com and Ebay.
