Yoda

1977 - Feb 1992

Bruce adopted Yoda from a friend who moved out of town.  Yoda was coal black and had a purr that wouldn't quit!  Here is a photo I have of him with Nathan.

Sierra

1985 - 1993

Sierra was Bruce's favorite.  She wasn't very big, but had lots of soft long fur.  Sierra was definitely a cat with an ATTITUDE.  We called her "Miss Priss" sometimes, because she sure would flaunt her stuff!  This is a picture of Sierra sleeping on her back on top of a warm comforter that had just come out of the dryer.

Puddin'

1985 - 1 Feb 2000

Puddin' was a pound cat that Bruce adopted in 1985.  One could probably write a book about Puddie's antics.  She had quite a large "vocabulary" and wouldn't hesitate to tell you her "story".  Puddin' was always good for a laugh.

Minh

Early 1992 - 8 Dec 1999

Minh came to live with us in July 1992.  We figure he was about four months old at the time.  Bruce and I heard a crying sound under our bedroom window early 4th of July morning.  Bruce went out to investigate and found this little Siamese cat who had apparently been abandoned.

Here is Jeff holding Minh, and Karla holding our oldest grandson Nathanial.

Minh loved to watch the birds in the feeder outside our livingroom windows.

Minx

1990 - 2004

Minx

Don't let that innocent look fool you! She earned her name!

Like Puddin', the Minx came from the Humane Society.  She was about 4 and a half years old when Bruce got her.  Minh and Minx loved to take turns chasing each other around the houuse.  Old age eventually took her.  She was about 14 years old.  She got more and more frail and one day she just wandered off.

Gracie

Just after Memorial Day 2002, we came home to find a hungry & thirsty cat resting in the shade on our front step.  After getting something to eat & drink, she must have decided that she had a good deal going.  A week later, we decided that she was here to stay, so Bruce took her to the vet to be checked out.  That was when we learned that she was going to be a mom.

On July 7, Gracie became the proud mother of 5 cute kitties, 4 boys and 1 girl. Here is a shot from their first photo-op when they were a week old.

1-week

While chatting about the kittens, Marge and one of her co-workers began picking names that contained Grey since that is the dominant color.  In keeping with that thought, here they are (at least while they are with us).  These photos were taken at around age 8-9 weeks.
