About Me

Thanks for visiting the "About Me" section. Hi, I'm Sandra and I'm from San Diego, CA. I was born and raised here. I'm currently studying to become an RN. Not in a nursing program yet, but just taking the prerequisites to get into one. I've had thoughts of becoming a kindergartner or 1st/2nd grade teacher if the nursing thing falls through. I'm quite shy at 29 years old, yet do open up over time. I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, camping, roller skating, ice skating, going to movies, hanging out with friends, and studying Microbiology. I've just recently started getting to know Jesus better, and also currently listen to K-WAVE frequently. It's mostly christian talk-radio with occasional gospel singing. It's based on the Cavalry Chapel and quite interesting to listen to. But that's just my opinion. Anyways, that's a short little description of who I am. More details are below.

Travel - I'm a big travel buff. Someday I hope to travel around the world and to at least visit each and every state. Orbitz is a great site for finding the cheapest flights.

Writing - I've always loved writing. My favorite authors include Michael Crichton, Robert Heinlein and Nicholas Sparks. Robert Heinlein writes science-fiction. A couple of his most famous books are "The Cat Who Walks Through Walls," and "Starship Troopers." He also wrote "Stranger In A Strange Land," a deeply-loved personal favorite of mine. Sparks has mostly written romance novels like "The Notebook," "Message In A Bottle," and "A Walk to Remember," all wonderfully written books.
