June 25, 2009:

Since our last update, Sarasvati has made some bold moves of a new kind. She has been taking a temporary hiatus from performing in order to pursue a degree in textile design and artisanry. She is entering her final year of study and has hopes of gathering her skills to construct one of a kind, hand-crafted dance costuming!

Summer, however, does provide a warm oasis from the rigors of scholarly life. And so, Sarasvati will be taking the opportunity to build a stronger dance community within New Bedford, beginning by expanding her teaching base to several exciting new locations over the next several months.
