Family Grave Stones

Taking pictures of family headstones are an important record for genealogists. With Jewish Genealogy the Hebrew information often tells the name of the Father or Parents. Information that great grandchildren often do not know.

There are a growning numbers of abandon cemeteries. Keeping track of where your ancestors are buried and checking on the cemeteries up keep is getting more and more important. Many Jewish cemeteries in Boston have been adopted by a non profit organization as the clubs, societies, synagogues that built the cemeteries have all been disbanded.

Using a GPS For Genealogy Records

We always get lost trying to find some of the family plots and cemeteries.

With buying a GPS we decided to retake pictures of family stones and mark the coordinates.
