 Dear Member,

We are now into the New Year and I hope that everyone has had a very joyous holiday season.  This year will be our first full year as a revitalized organization and it will be full of fun activities and satisfying work.  A few things our club would like to accomplish this year are: increase our membership and participation at our monthly meetings, have guest speakers on topics of interest, award our annual scholarship, a summer fishing rodeo for members and guest, encourage youth involvement in the outdoors with our kids rodeo and duck calling clinic/contest, and undertake a community service project.  All these things take time and coordination to put together and be a success!  Your active participation as a chairperson or volunteer for these activities will definitely make our club a success.

Please plan on attending our first meeting for 2009 on Thursday, January 22 at 7 PM.  Our monthly meetings will be held in the Crustacean Room behind Lehrmann’s Seafood & Bar, 135 W. St. Bernard Hwy. , Chalmette .  This meeting will be our Wild-Game Food Night.  If you have any game (ie; deer, hog, rabbit, fish, etc.) please bring a small dish of your favorite recipe for fellow members to sample.  Plates, bowls and utensils will be provided.

We are compiling an email roster for emergency notifications, please email Joey at englertj@cox.net with your preferred email address.
