Dear Sportsman’s League Members,
Please try to attend our next MEETING on THURSDAY, MAY 21 at 7:00 PM in the Crustacean Room behind Lehrmann’s Seafood and Bar. We will be discussing the upcoming members fishing rodeo on Saturday, June 13 at Proctor’s Landing in Shell Beach. Member, Mike Cimino, has graciously offered his place at #6 Caribbean Key as host site for our weigh-in and rodeo festivities. Details for rodeo will be presented at this meeting.
The scholarship committee has awarded this year’s Joseph C. Fecke Memorial Scholarship to Ms. Jaime Guardalabene. Jaime is a resident of St. Bernard and is currently enrolled at the University of New Orleans. She is pursuing a degree in biology. We have invited Jaime to our May meeting for a presentation of the scholarship.
Memberships are up for renewal by the end of May. If your address label has a 09’ on it, your membership is about to expire, our fiscal year runs from June 1 to May 31 each year. If you have joined the club in recent months your membership is good until May 2010. Membership dues are $25 per year and payable to the St. Bernard Sportsman’s League.
