Intra-Club Fishing Rodeo

June 13 – Shell Beach

     The SBSL is having its’ first fishing rodeo since 2005!  Mike Cimino has graciously offered to host our rodeo at his home in Proctor’s Landing, #6 Caribbean Key, Shell Beach , LA.   It is for club members and is scheduled to be a low key, fun event.  Members may bring guests to fish in the rodeo as long as they fish with a member. All participants must pay the $20.00/person registration fee per fisherman.  Members and their immediate family that do not fish may attend the weigh-in event for a $5.00 fee per person.  Food will be provided at the weigh-in!  Please mail all fees by June 8 to: SBSL, c/o Joey Englert, 3725 Gallo Dr , Chalmette , La. 70043 .

Please include names of fishermen and non-fishing members/guest! We will need a head count in order to plan for the food.

     Rules and categories are as follows: There are four prize categories,

Largest Fish, Largest Speckled Trout, Largest Red Drum under 27 inches, and Heaviest Stringer of Speckled Trout per boat (up to max. of 5 fish).  A fish may be entered into only one category (i.e.; Largest trout cannot be included in the five fish stringer or visa versa).  Weigh-in will be open from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  Cash prizes will be determined by the number of participants we have fishing in the rodeo.

     Note: We will not have our June 18 General Meeting, the rodeo will take the place of the meeting.  Please plan on fishing in your club rodeo!  For more information contact: Joey Englert at 504-277-6683.
