Nominations of Officers

Dear Fellow Members,  

Our monthly meeting is on Thursday, October 15 at 7:00 PM in the Crustacean Room behind Lehrman’s Seafood & Bar. It is important that you attend to nominate a member or be nominated for a position as a League’s officer.  A nominated member must be present to accept or if absent, may accept in writing to the president up until the meeting.

We will have food at this meeting, possibly jambalaya!

Congrats to our Gumbo winners: 1st Place – Carolyn Robin, 2nd Place – Sharon Geeck, 3rd Place – Debbie Franatovich.

Cook book recipes (wild game & seafood) need to be sent to Ernie Franatovich at 116 Coney Dr, Arabi, LA 70032.

Silent Heroes Fishing Rodeo is Oct. 17 at Gulf Outlet Marina off Paris Road.  We decided that members wanting a       fall club rodeo will fish this event and gather socially at the weigh-in.  Contact Nicky Alfonso for ticket info at            504-272-0038.   Thanks to Carolyn Robin & Brian Reaney for donating their winnings to this rodeo!

Ducks Unlimited Banquet is on Thursday, October 22 in the Grand Ballroom, Fred Sigur Civic auditorium.
